Student Leaders Create Fund for Haiti Relief
Ross community seeks to raise $20,000 for Partners in Health.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Ross students representing the Black Business Students Assn., the Hispanic and Latino Business Students Assn., Net Impact, and the Student Government Assn. have created the Students of Ross Haiti Relief Fund to benefit Partners In Health.
The goal is to raise $20,000 for the Boston-based organization, which has been providing community healthcare in Haiti since 1985. The Partners In Health team is collecting as much information as possible about the conditions on the ground in Haiti, the relief efforts taking shape, and all relevant logistics in order to respond efficiently and effectively to the most urgent needs in the field.
