Ball and (Supply) Chain :: Audio
6/12/2009 --
As economic pressures threaten longstanding supply chains, manufacturers and suppliers seek solutions.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Professor Wally Hopp explains how recessions wreak havoc on just-in-time supply chains, and outlines steps companies can take to restore order. Hopp is the Herrick Professor of Manufacturing and a professor of operations and management science at Ross. Hopp recently co-authored the book Factory Physics and is author of Supply Chain Science.
