European Union and the United States must work together to solve the world's economic crisis, says Ross professor.
ANN ARBOR, Mich.—The World Bank recently announced the global economy will shrink this year for the first time since World War II. While America’s financial crisis is certainly one force behind the world’s economic beat-down, Europe is the other half of this one-two economic punch. The crisis in Europe is worse than many may realize, says Professor Jan Svejnar. He is the Everett E. Berg Professor of Business Administration and a professor business economics and public policy at Ross. He also is a professor of public policy at the University’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
