Leveraging Online Media and Marketing

Yaffe Center conference Feb. 6-8 in California will address how marketers can take advantage of online media, communities and retailing.

ANN ARBOR, Mich.—The Yaffe Center for Persuasive Communication at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business will co-sponsor a conference on "Leveraging Online Media and Online Marketing" Feb. 6-8 in Palm Springs, Calif.

Held at the Miramonte Resort, the conference will explore ways in which marketers can utilize online media, online communities and online retailing to communicate with consumers. Key questions to be addressed include: What can we learn about the magnitudes of these trends, the drivers underlying them and their implications for marketing practice and theory? How do we separate the reality from the hype, and what can we learn from cases of some early successes—and failures?

The conference is co-sponsored with the Sloan Center for Internet Retailing at the University of California, Riverside, for the Marketing Science Institute. The registration deadline is Friday, January 11th.
