An Afternoon with Maya Angelou

Renowned poet, author and social activist will give public talk this Friday.
ANN ARBOR, Mich.---Maya Angelou, internationally known poet, best-selling author and distinguished social activist, will deliver a free public lecture at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at Hill Auditorium.

Angelou, who is also an educator, historian, actress, playwright, producer and director, is the author of a dozen top-selling books, including "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings," "The Heart of a Woman" and "A Song Flung Up to Heaven."
Her talk is part of the alumni reunion activities of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
