Using the Classroom Equipment
Computer Login
The classroom computer on the instructor's desk is connected to the
Internet via an Ethernet connection. Login is required.
Students log into the Kerberos realm (the
umich.edu domain) with
their
uniqname and password. Faculty and staff may log into the Kerberos realm with their Kerberos
password, or by choosing the BUS domain from the drop down login box with
their Business School password to access individual resources on the
Business School network (private folders and files, etc.).
Projecting a Laptop
To project a laptop: Connect the cable in the instructor's desk to the
display port and use the Crestron touch screen control to select the laptop
display. Most laptops require a keyboard command, such as Function + F8 for
Dell laptops, to send the display signal through the display cable. The
keyboard command will vary by laptop make and model.
