Kresge Library is dedicated to meeting the needs of all students, faculty, staff, and community members. If you have questions or comments about services to patrons with disabilities, please contact Library Director Corey Seeman.
The Kresge Library website currently meets general standards for accessibility to assistive technologies. If you have questions about accessing the website, or have suggestions for improving accessibility, please contact us.
Getting to the Library
Kresge Library is located in the center of the Ross School of Business, behind the Hill Street parking structure.
Library patrons with disabilities that affect mobility are encouraged to enter the Ross complex through the Electronic Education & Resources Building entrance on East University Avenue. Go straight, and at the end of the hallway, take the elevator on your right to the 2nd floor. Enter the library through the glass doors opposite the elevator and stairwell.
Navigating and Using the Library
Once inside the library, patrons can access the Reference Desk and Circulation Desk. An elevator inside the library will take patrons to the 3rd floor (Computing Services, group study rooms, and Library administration offices) and 4th floor (stacks and quiet study).
Unfortunately, the 4th floor stacks are not wheelchair accessible. If you need assistance retrieving items from the Kresge Library, call our Circulation Desk at (734) 764-1375. You can also email us, or send us an IM using the chat box on our homepage. Patrons are encouraged to call ahead to make arrangements to have items pulled for them.
Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Library.
Kresge Library manages coursepack operations for the Ross School of Business. Kresge staff can work with the University of Michigan Office of Services for Students with Disabilities to convert course materials to different formats. If you have questions about coursepack formats, please contact us.
