Kresge Library Services partnered with Study.net and University of Michigan Printing Services for the production and delivery of digital course materials with an optional printed TEXTPAK. Kresge Learning Support Staff handle all of the administrative tasks, work directly with faculty to obtain the necessary materials, clear copyright permissions, coordinate production with Study.net, and communicate with students regarding purchasing and accessing their digital course materials
New course materials policyThis policy covers the service provided, format of digital and optional printed course materials, and distinguishes the difference between Required General Course Materials (cases and articles) and Required Special Course Materials (simulations, online tutorials, negotiation exercises).

Submission details are emailed to all faculty and support staff 4-6 weeks in advance of the course material submission deadline. The email includes a "Course Preparation" checklist with deadlines for the term. Course materials go on sale to students approximately two weeks before the term begins and are delivered digitally through a Study.net course site.
Cases and Teaching Notes
Most case vendors offer educators access to preview cases and teaching notes. Some require registration on their website for educator access. Contact us for assistance in finding cases, simulations or other curriculum material relevant to your course needs.

Course Reserves Submission
Course Reserves are managed by University Reserves located within Askwith Media Library in the Shapiro Library building. Place your request for University Library owned materials by web form, email, or phone (734-764-7491).
For items you own and are placing on reserve, drop off in-person at the Reserves Office - 1154 first floor Shapiro. Your items will be given call numbers that the students need to reference when checking out the materials.

DVDs for Instructional Use
Instructional DVDs are available from the Askwith Media Library located in the Shapiro Undergraduate Library.
CTools and Canvas Support
The Kresge Learning Support Team provides local training and troubleshooting support for Canvas and CTools learning management systems. Six Kresge Staff will be added to all Ross CTools or Canvas course sites. Please do not delete Debie Gurkin, Jennifer Zimmer, Emily Schlaack, Fred Jablonski, Todd Elkins or Halley Todd. For assistance with site setup, questions about features or additional functionality, please email email@example.com. Additionally, extra help can be found for CTools How to Create a Site or for Canvas, Canvas at Ross.
Include Ross logo on your CTools course site:
- Change appearance to "Business School" when you create your site, or
- within course site, select "site info"; then "Edit Site Info"; change appearance to "Business School".
Assignment and Exam Pick Up & Review
The Kresge Learning Support Team staffs a central office (Kresge Annex) where students can pick up assignments and view exams in a secure, supervised manner. An MCard or photo ID is required to receive materials.
Submit materials to your Faculty Support Coordinator's office. Staff will ensure that any special instructions are followed and prep for delivery to the Kresge Annex. Allow a minimum of 24 hours after submission for processing before notifying students.
- Assignment/Exam Pick Up: Allows students to pick up an assignment/exam without using class time. A photo ID is shown to the staff member and the assignment/exam is permanently returned to the student.
- Assignment/Exam Review: Allows students a short period of time to review an assignment without using class time. A photo ID is shown to the staff member and assignment/exam is provided to the student to review in a secured, supervised manner (around 15 minutes or less). Students are not allowed to copy or remove the exam/assignment from the viewing area.

Faculty may request digital copies of journal articles, book chapters and other documents to be delivered straight to your desktop, as well as books that are not available at the University Library.
To make a request, contact us with a citation, and ISBN/ISSN if available.
Working Papers Submission
To submit working papers to the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan Research Paper Series Journal on SSRN and to Deep Blue, send a PDF copy of your working paper to firstname.lastname@example.org, with the following:
- Primary author's name, title, affiliation, and email
- Primary author's department at Ross
- Co-author(s) name, title, affiliation, and email

- Working paper abstract (100-250 words)
