Staff Assistance

Retrieval of items
If you need assistance retrieving items at Kresge, please contact the circulation desk on the 2nd floor. Staff at that desk will be able to assist you. You may also email a librarian for assistance at kresge_library@umich.edu.Course Materials
The Kresge Library manages the course materials (or coursepack) operations for the Ross School of Business. Many of the classes here have required reading that are printed and sold to students. We can work with the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities to help convert course material to a different format. Handicapped Parking Areas
Visitor parking is available via metered parking on the street or the City of Ann Arbor's Forest Avenue parking structure, located three blocks east and one block north of the Ross School. The Library building is located behind the Hill Street parking structure in the southern part of Central Campus. The library is in the center of the block bordered by Tappan, Hill Street, and East University. It is best to enter the Ross Business School complex from East University.- If you come into the building at the Information Desk entrance (sliding doors), go through the first floor lounge area and turn left into the hallway. Go all the way down the hallway and take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. Enter the Library through the glass doors opposite the stairwell.
- If you come into the building through the Electronic Education & Resources Building entrance, go straight, all the way down the hallway, and take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. Enter the Library through the glass doors opposite the stairwell.
Elevators
An elevator is available to take patrons from the ground floor to the 2nd floor where they can enter the library. Once inside, there is an elevator to take you to the 3rd floor (Computing Services, group study rooms and Library offices) and the 4th floor (stacks and quiet study).Navigating the Stacks
The fourth floor stacks are not wheelchair accessible. Library staff will help to retrieve any items in the stacks that are difficult to reach. Patrons with special needs can save time by calling ahead to make arrangements to have the items they need pulled off the shelf (734-764-1375).Restrooms
Restrooms equipped with stalls and fixtures designed for wheelchair access are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors.Study Space
There are study areas accessible to patrons in wheelchairs on the 4th floor and study rooms that can be reserved through iMpact on the 2nd and 3rd floors.Other University Resources
