Electronic Resource Issues at the University of Michigan Business School

MBS contracts for commercial databases are only intended for the educational purposes of faculty, students, and staff.

You may not use a database for non-educational purposes or copy large portions of a work.

Vendors provide databases to educational institutions at significantly reduced prices. Providing information to companies represents a threat to commercial sales. This is a particularly difficult issue for those engaged in research and learning in the field of business. Please check posted restrictions to identify any use limitations.

In today's digital world, copyright and contract law are closely tied. Contract law takes precedence.
