Using Your Library Account
Logging in to Your Account
- To log in to your account, enter your last name and 14-digit barcode number in the log in screen:

- If you are unable to log in, come to the library with your MCard, and ask Circulation Desk staff to create an account for you.
- Once you are logged in, you will see the Account Information screen with options currently available for managing you library materials and account.

Viewing Checked Out Items and Renewing Items Online
- Click on the "Items currently checked out" link on the Account Information screen to see checked out items, fines and pending requests.
- Mark items you would like to renew, and click on the Renew Selected button, or click on Renew All to renew all items in the list. The new due date will appear next to the item.
- If you received a message saying "Too Soon to Renew," try renewing this item closer to the due date.

Viewing Fine Details
- On the Account Information page, you can see an amount of unpaid fines. Click on this link to see the items associated with these fines.
- The Fines page displays item titles, amounts due for each item and checkout and return details.

Viewing Hold Status
- Click on the "1 request (hold)" link on the Account Information screen to check the status of a hold or request.

- The Requested Items page will display all items that you have placed on hold or requested through the MeLCat service. This list will not include items such as Mirlyn requests or ILL requests, as these are done through the University Library system.
