The C.K. Prahalad Initiative approach is rooted in the conviction that practical experience generates innovative management ideas, and those ideas, in turn, should be applied and refined in the crucible of practical experience.
C.K. Prahalad Multi-disciplinary Action Projects (Prahalad MAP)
Leveraging its leadership position in action-based learning (or experiential learning), the Ross School partners with organizations around the world to provide students field experiences that address the relationship between profit generation and social value creation.
C.K. Prahalad Fellows
Michigan Ross will offer partial scholarships to a group of students in the two-year MBA program. Fellows will work on the Prahalad Initiative's action-based learning projects and work with faculty and staff to generate intellectual capital such as case studies and white papers related to their work.
C.K. Prahalad Visiting Professorship
In keeping with the generative spirit of C.K. Prahalad's work, Michigan Ross will host a visiting professorship to ensure the flow of fresh thinking about the role of business in generating social value.
C.K. Prahalad Executive in Residence
In keeping with C.K. Prahalad's exceptional ability to integrate theory and practice, the school will host a C.K. Prahalad Executive in Residence to ensure that Ross faculty and students are exposed to executives with significant experience leading business innovations that create social value.
