MBA International Semester Exchange Program

Overview

During their second year, Ross MBA students have the opportunity to study abroad at one of 15 distinguished partner schools in cities as diverse as Shanghai to Buenos Aires. Our exchange partnerships allow students to learn about business from a different perspective, experience another culture, and network with students, faculty, and professionals from around the world. Students can choose to participate in half- (Winter A only) or full-semester exchange programs during the winter semester depending on which option best suits their academic or professional plans.

The International MBA Exchange Program at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business was started with a vision to promote a cultural interchange of ideas and provide a greater understanding of cross-cultural trade and business practices. Whether students are participating in an executive leadership simulation course in Barcelona, or taking finance courses in London or Hong Kong, their exchange experience is intended to enhance their skills as future business leaders and to provide them with an immersion experience that adds value to their time at Ross. The local student body and academic culture at each partner school offer a unique approach to business strategy and problem-solving.

Application Process

The MBA Exchange Program offers exchange during the Winter Semester only. Second-year MBAs who have completed the first-year core courses are eligible to apply. Before applying, second-year MBAs must talk with a Ross Academic Advisor to ensure that all their core courses have been completed. Furthermore, students should review the program cost sheets below to determine which programs are most financially feasible based on their individual financial situation.
