The East Asia Management Development Center (EAMDC) at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business was established to assist companies in East Asia in nurturing their talented employees as future business leaders equipped with strong leadership, global perspectives, and cutting edge business knowledge and skills.
The social and business culture in East Asia is different than the west so the approach in business education should also be different. We develop and offer programs specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of companies in East Asia. We have offered diverse degree and custom programs for our partner companies and can extend the benefits to your company.
The EAMDC administers the Ross Global MBA Program which was established to offer the most effective MBA program for sponsored MBA students. The program curriculum is the same as our 2 year MBA but, by taking courses for four consecutive terms without a summer vacation, students can complete the program in 16 months. In addition, students are exposed to diverse opportunities to acquire international experience and build global networks.
To meet specific needs of a company, the EAMDC will develop a custom program. The program format can be several days, several weeks or even several months depending on the need. In terms of location, we can offer programs either at Ross’ Ann Arbor campus or at a site of the company’s choice. The EAMDC works in conjunction with the Ross School’s Executive Education Center.
