Mission

Prof M S Krishnan, Co-Director, India Research Center -- "The center will bring research findings into the classroom so that our students have a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges in this global restructuring of industries and can reflect on the specific capabilities needed to thrive as a successful leader in a global economy."

Prof C K Prahalad, Co-Director, India Research Center -- "We are focusing on next practices, not best practices. The India Center's first priority is to isolate issues of great importance for the future and frame them to create the right debate, both in the business community and in public policy."

India Research Center: Mission

The India Research Center aims to work with global and Indian companies on actionable managerial issues to discover next business practices in the context of Global Resource Leverage.

The center seeks to involve industry practitioners, researchers, policy makers and students in a constructive dialogue on Global Resource Leverage.

Components of Mission

India Research Center seeks to collaborate with companies and other stakeholders through research, case studies, projects, speaker events and executive education programs for achieving its mission.

Research and Case Studies

Following University of Michigan's strong tradition of quality research, India Research Center is actively involved in research projects studying various aspects of Global Resource Leverage. Previous related research can be found at Resources: Research.

India Research Center is also documenting success stories in Global Resource Leverage through case studies. Related case studies can be found at Resources: Case Studies. India Research Center also welcomes use of its case studies as teaching aids in other Universities.

Books and Articles intended for the general audience form an important part of India Research Center's goal of distributing knowledge to the practitioner community.

Prof C K Prahalad successfully integrated student research and projects into his recent book.
