10th Mitsui Life Symposium on Financial Markets
Institutional Investors: Issues in Asset Management and Governance
June 3-4, 2005
The 2005 Mitsui Life Symposium “Institutional Investors:
Issues in Asset Management and Governance” was a two day conference on June
3-4. Over the course of the conference, 12 authoritative papers in the area
of delegated portfolio management were presented and discussed.
Noted finance professor Martin Gruber, of New York University delivered the keynote address. Dr. Gruber is a highly regarded
authority on portfolio management and recently served as president of the
AFA.
He delivered his remarks at the opening dinner Friday evening, June 3, in
Phelps Lounge.
All sessions were held at the Stephen M. Ross
School of Business complex at the University of Michigan. For further
