The Center has now published two POLICY NEWSLETTERS.

Mission
The purpose of the POLICY NEWSLETTER
is to inform business and public policy through social science research.
The POLICY NEWSLETTER is an interdisciplinary forum
for scholars to communicate the policy implications of their research.
Policy
The POLICY NEWSLETTER is published electronically
by the Center for Society & Economy at the University of Michigan Business
School, 701 Tappan Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1234 USA.
Each issue of the POLICY NEWSLETTER is devoted to
a specific theme of contemporary and significant interest. We welcome contributions
of policy-oriented articles and suggestions for themes of future issues.
Copyright © 2000 Center for Society & Economy. Authors are automatically
granted the right to republish their material in other journals, books,
or other media. Copying beyond fair use: Electronic or print copies of articles
in this Newsletter may be made and distributed for teaching and research
purposes, educational purposes, and for other noncommercial purposes free
of charge and without securing permission, provided that appropriate citation
is made. For all other purposes, permission must be obtained from the Center
for Society & Economy and from the individual author.
Contributions
All articles should be submitted in electronic form via email to cse@umich.edu.
Each article should be about 1,500 words (2,000 maximum). It should be relevant
for business and/or public policy, and written for a general audience. Examine
past issues of the POLICY NEWSLETTER for style. Because
each issue is devoted to a specific theme, we suggest that you send a short
(one-page) inquiry prior to preparation and submission of an article.
Subscription
The POLICY NEWSLETTER is free for individual
and organizational subscribers. It is distributed electronically via mailing
lists and listservers. To subscribe as an individual, or to have your organization
or association included in our distribution, register
