Francisco Palomino’s research focuses on developing economic theories to study the interaction between macroeconomic conditions and the valuation of financial assets. He has analyzed the effects of welfare-maximizing monetary policies on long-term interest rates and the information content of bond yields. He is currently working on understanding the effects of monetary policy rules on bond and stock valuation.
