Amiyatosh’s research focuses on various aspects of risk-management, security issues (IPOs/SEOs), credit risk and banking. His research papers have analyzed the risk-management incentives of non-financial firms and commercial banks. He has received grants from the FDIC and has been named FDIC’s Fellow for his work related to banking and risk-management. Amiyatosh is also interested in examining the short-term and long-term performance of equity issuers (IPOs and SEOs) and the implications for the rational and behavioral asset pricing theories. His research has been published or accepted for publication in the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Monetary Economics and other finance journals.
