Xuenan (Erica) Li

Professor Erica Li received her Ph.D. in Finance from University of Rochester's William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration in 2008. She also earned a Ph.D. in Physics from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2002. In her doctoral thesis from Rochester, Professor Li tries to explain how corporate governance affects the costs of capital of firms. In general, her research focuses on developing theoretical models to understand the economic determinants of firms' investment and financing policies as well as their risk and expected stock returns.
