Katherine Terrell

Professor of Business Economics; Professor of Public Policy Studies, Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy

Katherine Terrell's research and teaching focus on countries in the Central and Eastern European and Latin American regions, where the transition to the global market economy has been dramatic in the last decade. Her work examines labor market adjustments to globalization and government policies intended to assist workers and the functioning of the market. Professor Terrell teaches in the MBA and Ph.D. programs of the Business School; she is currently the Advisor for the International Business Ph.D. program. She is also a Professor at the Ford School of Public Policy. Her teaching emphasizes Business Issues in Latin America, Labor Markets and Public Policy and Development Economics.
