Winter 2007: Advanced Fundamental Equity Security Analysis

This course provides hands-on exposure to fundamental equity analysis of both individual securities and business sectors. The major goals are to teach students where to look for relevant qualitative and quantitative data, and then to convert the data into quantitative model variables taht will create recommendations about the stocks to trade and to predict when certain industries tend to outperform or underperform the S&P 500.  This class will emphasize conceptual learning and knowledge, versus coming up with the "right answer".
