What time does Commencement start and end?
The BBA & MAcc Commencement Ceremony begins at 3:00pm and the MBA & PhD Commencement Ceremony begins at 6:00pm. Each ceremony is expected to run approximately 90 minutes.
Students are asked to be in their seats no later than 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the ceremony.
All guests must be seated 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start.

What time do the doors at Hill Auditorium open?
For the BBA/MAcc Ceremony doors will open at 2:15pm.
For the MBA/PhD Ceremony doors will open at 5:15pm.
Are tickets required for guests?
Ross Commencement
Seating at Hill Auditorium is limited. Tickets are Required for all guests and graduates.
The Ross Commencement usually takes place at Crisler Arena which is large enough to accommodate all of our graduates and we do not have to place limits on the number of guests who can attend.
Due to construction, Crisler was unavailable this year and our best option was to have two separate ceremonies at Hill Auditorium. It is not ideal, but we are fortunate to have that option unlike some schools that were also displaced that are only able to have one ceremony and have to offer overflow facilities as the only option for most of their guests.
Please Note: We have 700+ eligible MBA graduates and 450+ BBA and MAcc graduates. We expect to fill every seat at both ceremonies. Please only request tickets if you are planning to attend.
- BBA and MAcc Graduates who are planning to attend the 3:00pm ceremony can request up to 6 guest tickets.
- MBA Graduates who are planning to attend the 6:00pm ceremony can request
up to 4 guest tickets.
We will live web-stream both ceremonies into Blau Auditorium and classrooms at Ross for other guests who are unable to get a seat at Hill.
Children at the Ceremony: Will need their own seat. Please note, there are no storage facilities for strollers at Hill Auditorium - do not bring strollers into the building.

What do graduates need to wear?
Ross School of Business academic attire. Beginning in January 2012, this can be ordered online at http://colleges.herffjones.com/college/ross/ under Ross School of Business.
Attire can also be purchased at two local bookstores: Michigan Union Bookstore and Ulrich's Bookstore.
Some students have asked about purchasing "honor cords". While honor cords
may be purchased from graduation gown vendors, be advised that final honors
calculations are not computed until all grades are submitted (after
commencement). This means that students who wish to purchase honor cords are
doing so based on their own unofficial calculations, and wearing these honor
cords does not carry any official recognition.

Who is eligible to participate?
All graduates and candidates of the Winter Term 2012, Spring/Summer Term 2012, or Fall Term 2011 (Who did not participate in April 2011 ceremony), may participate.
