Faculty Information

Academic Attire
- The School will rent academic attire for all faculty participating in the
Ross School of Business Commencement Exercises. All faculty members will be
contacted regarding specific measurements and details.
- The academic attire will be delivered directly to Crisler Arena for the
ceremony on Friday, April 30, 2010.
- If any faculty member needs to have his/her academic attire earlier than
April 30 for other commencement related activities, or needs to keep the attire
after the Commencement Exercises on Friday, please inform Lynnette Iannace
as soon as possible so that alternative arrangements can be made for you.
- If any faculty member would like to purchase academic attire, the school
will cover 50% of the cost of the purchase.
Parking
Reserved parking will be arranged for participating faculty members as needed.
You will be contacted in April regarding parking passes and directions.
Processional
- The graduate processional begins at 4:50 pm. During that time, the faculty
will leave the robing room and line up in the tunnel.
- The student speakers will lead the platform party into the arena and begin
the processional onto the stage.
- The order of placement will be finalized onsite.
- At the end of the ceremony, Dean Dolan will lead the platform party off
the stage and back into the robing room.
Seating for Guests
Seating is general admission for the Ceremony, but we do reserve certain rows
for VIP guests. Please let us know if you will be having any special
guests attend the ceremony so that passes can be issued.
Events
Faculty members are invited to attend the other events
and activities surrounding Commencement.
