I don't remember my uniqname (iMpact login name) or password,
who can I contact?
Click here if you don't remember your uniqname or password or contact the ITCS Accounts Office
at 734.764.8000.
Is forwarded email automatically
deleted from the UMich
server? The Lifetime Email Forwarding system is
a forwarding service only.
Email messages sent to your "@umich.edu"
email address do not
"live" on the UMich server, but are
automatically forwarded to the
email address you have indicated in the U-M
Online Directory (i.e.
hotmail.com, yahoo.com, etc.).
Why can't I send email FROM my
"@umich.edu" email
address? The reason you can't send email from
your "@umich.edu" email
address is because it is an email forwarding
address only, not an
email account. If you are interested in
purchasing an email account
from the University of Michigan, visit U-M Online
at
http://www.umonline.umich.edu
and click "Member Services."
I want to change my existing uniqname.
How can I do this?
If you would like to change your
existing uniqname, contact the
ITCS Accounts Office at 734.764.8000 or
itcs.accounts.office@umich.edu.
Why do I have to go to iMpact
and enter my
email address after I set up my Lifetime Email Forwarding?
The U-M Online Directory is not
connected to the iMpact Alumni
Directory, so entering your Lifetime Email
Forwarding address into
the U-M Online Directory does not update iMpact.
It is important
for you to enter your preferred email address in
iMpact so alumni
and students can contact you for networking
purposes. Also, by
entering your email address Development & Alumni Relations can
send you our
e-newsletter, MichiganMail.
