Mission Statement and Objectives

Global Blue Mission

Global Blue is a student-run organization working to build an exceptional Michigan Business School community by developing "alumni-in-residence" and strengthening alumni affiliations both with students and among one another.

Global Blue Objectives

  • Serve as a resource that helps students and clubs effectively leverage the alumni community;
  • Foster "alumni-in-residence" spirit to develop students' lifelong affiliation with the Michigan Business School community;
  • Support Global Blue mission and objectives throughout Global Blue representative term and beyond;
  • Establish the standard for building alumni networks.

Keep actively involved with your class after graduation by helping plan reunions, promoting online communications and much more.

Alumni Business Conference & Reunion Weekend

Host these events and have an unparalleled opportunity to meet and network with numerous alumni from many industries.  You will get a taste of how large and connected the alumni community really is and what's on the current corporate mind.

Graduation Activities

Organize the Global Blue Rally, a raucous celebration and send-off to the graduating class, and the Alumni Information Booth where graduating students learn how to continue in the UMBS community after they leave town.

Annual Giving

Help raise funds for the school and increase the value of your investment in your MBA while strengthening the UMBS community.

Online Yearbook

Collect and compile both hilarious and important events, and capture the essence of the class spirit for you and your classmates to relive years down the road.
