A: Having sold my business (Seigle’s Home and Building Centers) and drinking caffeinated coffee after 6 p.m.


Q: What’s the last book you read?

A: In Defense of Israel by John Hagee.


Q: What’s the first album/CD you bought? 

A: The Monkees.


Q: What’s on your iPod?

A: I'm stuck in the ’90s and don't have one.


Q: What’s the most thrilling/adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

A: Stole a van from the University of Michigan.


Q: Pet peeve?

A: Disorganization.


Q: What did you want to be when you were a kid?

A: An architect.


Q: First job?

A: Sweeping the floors at my father's business.


Q: Best business decision?

A: Selling in 2005 before the bottom dropped out of the housing market.


Q: Favorite sport to watch?

A: Michigan football.


Q: What is the one thing you learned in business school that you’ll never forget? 

A: By the second beer, it's all in the marketing.


Q: What is the most important room in your home?

A: Screened porch.


Q: First website you access in the morning?

A: msnbc.com.


Q: Favorite comfort food? 

A: Tomato soup with grilled cheese.


Q: If you had a theme song, what would it be? 

A: “Don't Dwell on the Past.”

A: Bruce Springsteen, Golda Meir, and Albert Einstein.

A: Associate of the Year from the Home Building Industry.
