Estimated Costs of Attendance

An estimated budget of potential expenses that financial aid can help cover are listed below. Figures represent the 2005-2006 academic year. Federal regulations do not allow us to include estimated living expenses for a student's spouse or children. Actual costs may vary depending on your lifestyle choices. The Financial Aid Office can include school-related child care costs upon written request. The estimated student budget for the eight month academic year, 2005-2006 is as follows:

University of Michigan Residency Regulations

Payment Schedule

Tuition and fees will be assessed in full on a per semester basis. Fall term tuition is due by September 30. Winter term tuition is due by January 31. The University will send an account statement before each payment is due. Late fees of $30.00 will be assessed each month if account is not paid in full.
