Admission to the full-time MAcc Program at Ross is completed on a rolling admissions basis from
August 15 through April 1* of each school year. Since the Admissions Committee makes decisions throughout the admissions cycle on a first-come, first-served basis, we suggest you submit applications as early as possible. To
be considered for scholarship and GSI opportunities, please submit your
application for admission to the program by December 1.
Only complete applications will be reviewed. To be considered complete, we must receive all test scores, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and essays. In addition, applicants are required to have completed the equivalent of five of the six accounting prerequisite courses. Applications received after the
April 1* deadline will be accepted and considered on a space-available basis. Admission to the MAcc Program is for the fall term only. (Preference is given to those applications received by
April 1*). Applicants may only apply to one degree program at Michigan's Ross School of Business in any given admission cycle. Refer to chart below for application deadlines.
*Please note that the MAcc Program application deadline has been
extended from March 1 to April 1.

Admission Deferrals
The Admissions Committee can grant requests to defer admission to the MAcc Program only in cases of extreme personal medical emergencies; approved deferrals have a one-year limit. Admitted applicants interested in a deferral should contact the program director at rossmacc@umich.edu for more information.
Reapplication
Reapplication is relatively simple. The Ross School retains credentials and other materials sent with the original application for two years from the original date of proposed entry. If reapplying after the two-year period has elapsed, applicants must submit new supporting materials as well as the application form and fee. Individuals interested in reapplication should contact the Office of Admissions for a reapplication packet. Applicants may only apply to one degree program at the Ross School of Business in any given admissions cycle.
Scholarship & GSI Deadlines
Ross offers a number of need and merit based scholarship
opportunities, as well as graduate student instructor (GSI) positions.
Admitted students are strongly encouraged to apply; please submit your
application for admission to the Ross MAcc program by December 1 to
ensure time to apply for scholarship opportunities. Award amounts vary
depending on availability of funds and the number of applicants.
