Application Materials

Online applications for the Ross MAcc program for the Fall 2008 term will be available mid June 2007. Following are items to be completed in the meantime.

1. Have your transcripts and GMAT scores sent to:

                    Office of Admissions
                    Stephen M. Ross School of Business
                    University of Michigan
                    701 Tappan Street, Room E2540
                    Ann Arbor, Michigan 48109-1234

    2.    Reach out to recommenders. Please ask permission and notify them to expect a message from Embark regarding  

           procedures to complete the recommendation.

    3.    Compose essays. Please select two of the three listed, and use at least 11 point font and 1.5 line spacing.

1. What are your immediate and long-term career goals and how will a Ross MAcc help you achieve them? What 2-3 characteristics of the Ross MAcc most appeal to you with respect to these goals?
    

2. Describe an experience where you have struggled or did not reach the outcome or goal you had hoped to achieve. Please describe how you reacted to the struggle, what you have learned from it and how you would react to it in the future. Please describe an experience that has occurred within the past 3-4 years.
    

3. To be successful in a MAcc program fully integrated within a premier MBA program, students must exhibit several characteristics that epitomize leadership. What leadership characteristics do you exhibit that would be considered strengths and would help you succeed in the integrated MAcc program? What are your weaknesses and how would you address them within this program?
