Application Deadlines
Admission to the full-time MAcc program is completed on a rolling admissions process. The Admissions Committee makes decisions throughout the admissions cycle
starting on July 15, through March 1 of each school year. As the Admissions Committee still makes decisions throughout the admissions cycle on a first-come basis, it is advantageous to submit applications as early as possible. Only completed applications will be reviewed. To be considered complete,
we must receive all test scores, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and
essays. In addition, applicants are required to have completed 3 of the 4
accounting prerequisite courses, and the economics and statistics prerequisites
prior to review of the application. Applications received after the final
regular deadline will be accepted and considered on a space-available basis. Admission to the MAcc
program is for the fall term
only. (Preference is given to
those applications received by
March 1). Applicants may only
apply to one degree program at
Michigan's Ross School of
Business in any given admission cycle. Refer to chart below for application deadlines.

Admission Deferrals
The Admissions Committee can grant requests to defer admission to the MAcc program only in cases of extreme personal medical emergencies; approved deferrals have a one-year limit. Admitted applicants interested in a deferral should contact the
Program Director of the MAcc at rossmac@umich.edu
for more information.
Reapplication
Reapplication is relatively simple. The School retains credentials and other materials sent with the original application for two years from the original date of proposed entry. If reapplying after the two-year period has elapsed, applicants must submit new supporting materials as well as the application form and fee. Individuals interested in reapplication should contact the
Office of Admissions for a reapplication packet. Applicants may only apply to one degree program at
Michigan's Ross School of
Business in any given admission cycle.
