While the Ross MSCM curriculum spans many disciplines, much of the coursework is centered in the
Technology & Operations (TO) department. The school’s highly ranked
TO faculty is dedicated to furthering theory and practice by conducting innovative research and then
sharing that research with Ross students in the classroom. That faculty includes:
- Ravi Anupindi, associate professor and MSCM program director. His research focuses on green supply chains and healthcare delivery models in emerging economies.
- Wally Hopp, Herrick Professor of Manufacturing. Hopp is the former editor-in-chief of Management Science and the author of Factory Physics. He is widely published on manufacturing and supply chains.
- Roman Kapuscinski, associate professor and co-director of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations. He studies the intersection of supply chain operations with marketing and finance. He also is a winner of the Ross Teaching Excellence Award.
These and other faculty experts are regularly quoted as reliable and relevant sources across all news media. Books by Ross faculty cover such topics as outsourcing in the services industry; the nation’s dependence on the financial markets; and new game strategies to create and capture value.
