Second Year Course Sequence

(Follow links on course titles for descriptions.)
Three courses will typically be taken concurrently throughout the program.  Parallel to the monthly courses is a Professional Development module, or track, that focuses on issues outside the normal classroom. Second year efforts consist of a series of "Next-Level" skill workshops and seminars aimed at working on the skills needed at the next level of an individual's career.  Based on previous classes, offerings may include sessions on emotional intelligence, media relations, managing relationships with board of directors, as well as managing senior staff groups.  Participants are encouraged to understand how their own styles and attitudes influence and directly affect their leadership success.  Hot Topic lunches are also arranged with fellow classmates leading discussions based on their expertise and experiences in situations relating to professional development.
