Careers

At Ross, our Office of Career Development (OCD) employs a career consultant focused solely on the unique needs of EMBA students and alumni.

Ross EMBAs are a diverse population, ranging from engineers to medical professionals. We create and facilitate community interest groups within the EMBA cohort that provide mutual support and networking among people who share similar backgrounds.

OCD also offers customized workshops and resources to address the high-level touch points in an executive career search.

Workshop topics include

  • self-assessment
  • resume development
  • self-marketing
  • networking
  • interviewing and negotiating

In addition, individual career counseling always is available to you as an EMBA student or alumnus, whether you are seeking to pivot to an alternative function within your existing firm or launch an external career search.

Ross EMBAs enjoy access to an exclusive network of program-specific alumni, as well as access to the Ross School's comprehensive database of 40,000 graduates worldwide. In addition, all EMBA graduates belong to the University of Michigan family, which counts more than half a million members.
