Application Guidelines

The application deadline for this event has passed.  Please apply next year.

Criteria for selection include:

• Demonstrated commitment or intent to promote the advancement of women in management

• Professional background and post-MBA goals

• All applicants are strongly encouraged to take the GMAT prior to applying for Discover Ross; however, this action is not a prerequisite for application.

• Please note: event is open to applicants of any gender

We encourage you to plan for your application before beginning the process. More information about the application format is listed below, in the Applications Steps.

APPLICATION STEPS

Please read through the required steps below before beginning your application. If you'd like to begin working on your application offline, the essay questions and other documents required are listed below.

Step 1: Create login ID and password
Once you have created a login and password, you may access the application and essay, resume, & activities uploads any time until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, September 15th.

Step 2: Application
Applicants are asked for personal information, work experience and education.

Step 3: Document Upload
Applicants are asked to upload a current resume, two essays and a list of activities & community involvement.

Essay Guidelines

• Please limit your response to 250-400 words per essay

• Use 11 point font, 1.5 line of spacing

• Put your full name at the top of each page

• BOTH essays are required

• Please save your essays in one document as LastnameFirstname_essays.doc (e.g., SmithNancy_essays.doc).

Essay 1: Please describe your future career plans and how an MBA will help you attain your short-term and long-term goals.

Essay 2: Discover Ross seeks to promote the advancement of women in management by attracting prospective Business School students, of any gender, with a demonstrated commitment to that purpose. Accordingly, please describe how you have or intend to support the advancement of women in academic or professional settings.

Step 4: Confirmation
Your application for Discover Ross will not be reviewed until all steps of the application are complete and submitted and you've received your application confirmation.
