Election of Courses

Ross School of Business BBA candidates generally carry about fifteen credits per term. To complement BBA core courses, students can choose from a wide range of electives both in and out of the Ross School of Business based on that particular student’s interests and career goals.

When planning the BBA curriculum, students should keep in mind the distribution requirements for graduation. The distribution requirements for students who are accepted and enroll in the business school are listed below.

Complete three of these four requirements (refer to the BBA Bulletin for specific details):

1.     Foreign Language (fourth term proficiency in a language other than English; fourth term proficiency is determined by
successful completion of proficiency examination or completion of a fourth-semester college-level foreign language course).
2.     Humanities – 9 credit hours
3.     Natural Sciences (NS) and/or Mathematical and Symbolic Analysis (MSA) – 9 credit hours
4.     Social Sciences (excludes Econ 101 & 102) – 9 credit hours
