Important information for all transfer applicants

  • All courses at your current college must be completed by June 1.  Courses completed after that date cannot be included in your electronic transfer application packet and will not be considered for fall admission.
  • We can review your courses for transfer credit only after you have submitted your application.  However, the grid at the top of this page will give you a very good idea of whether and how your credits will transfer.
  • You must complete at least the final 13.5 of the required 27 transferrable credits in the United States.  We do not accept college transfer students directly from institutions located outside the United States.
  • A maximum of 45 credits may be transferred to the Ross BBA Program.  The program requires three years of continuous, full-time enrollment (fall-winter).
  • Admission is highly selective.  We evaluate all applicants according to the same criteria, and we do our best to create a fair basis of comparison among applicants from widely differing schools.  About 1% of last year's entering class were admitted as transfer students.  A few students first transfer to a different college at UM-Ann Arbor, then apply for regular admission to the Ross BBA program.
