Real Estate Certificate Program

Credit Requirements for MBA Students pursuing the Real Estate Program

**Students must be admitted to the Certificate program through its admission process.  It requires completion of 17 credits, of which at least 9 must be registered under the Rackham career. (This means they are registered separately on your transcript from your Graduate Business Administration career.  Students will only have an active Rackham career after being formally admitted to the Rackham certificate program)**

Full-time MBA students with the Real Estate Certificate must complete:

  • 57 MBA hours

  • 9 Rackham hours (allows for 8 hours of "double counting" in the 17 credit hour certificate)

  • 66 Total credit hours required

Evening MBA students with the Real Estate Certificate must complete:

  • 60 MBA hours

  • 9 Rackham hours (allows for 8 hours of "double counting" in the 17 credit hour certificate)

  • 69 Total credit hours required

Dual MBA/MUP students w/ Real Estate Certificate must complete:

  • 84 Combined hours

  • 9 Rackham hours (allows for 8 hours of "double counting" in the 17 credit hour certificate)

  • 93 Total credit hours required

Dual MBA/Any-Other-Dual students with the Real Estate Certificate must complete:

  • Total dual hours

  • 17 certificate hours (no "double counting" permitted)

  • Total credit hours required = total combined dual degree credits + 17 cr.
