BBA Dual Degree Opportunities

Engineering Dual

Candidates for Joint/Dual degrees with this school must:

1) complete all BBA degree requirements (core; distribution; min 45 Bus Ad credits; etc.) - Advising to come from Ross Dual Degree Advisor in Academic Services.
2) complete all Engineering degree requirements  - Advising to come from an advisor in that department/discipline.

How do I apply for a dual degree?

Again, one must be an admitted student in each school/program.

Prospective duals must make an attempt to fill out the Excel planning template (below) before submitting an application to Ross Academic Services.  This spreadsheet lays out each traditional term & lists the core Bus Ad courses. It also has spaces for Engin. courses for planning purposes.

Select the template that is appropriate to you:
BBA Dual Engin Template for F06 Sophomore BBA Admits
BBA Dual Engin Template for F07 & F08 BBA Admits

(Remember, these templates are guides for planning purposes only.  They do not replace the degree audit.  Replace your specific degree requirements, distribution courses, etc. with the sample classes shown.)

Please note that the decision to pursue the dual degree is a heavy commitment, and it is likely to add additional semesters to your program.

Application for Engineering Dual

Submit the following:
1.  Application (signed by the appropriate representatives in both schools)
2.  Planning Template

Application materials should be submitted to Ross Academic Services (located in E2540).

Note for Fall 08 admits:  Dual Degree applications may be submitted after the first day of the Fall 2008 term.

Advising appointments for dual degree issues are available throughout the year.  From the Academic Counseling Appointments web site, select "BBA Dual Degree Advising/Issues" to schedule an appointment.

Admitted BBA's may contact the Dual Degree Advisors in the Office of Academic Services at rossacadservices@umich.edu.
