BBA Dual Degree Opportunities

The Ross School of Business offers the option for BBA students to pursue a dual degree with one of several different units across the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, including the College of Literature, Science & Arts (LS&A); the College of Engineering; the School of Music, Theatre & Dance; and Kinesiology's Sports Management program.

These students must...

·
be admitted to both schools/colleges.
·
complete requirements of both programs.
·        earn concurrent degrees. Both degrees are to be conferred in the same degree period.
If any degree requirement for either program is lacking, neither degree will be awarded.

How do I apply for a dual degree?

Again, one must be an admitted student in each school/program.

Admitted BBAs who wish to pursue a dual must make an attempt to fill out the Excel planning template (projected schedule of courses throughout one's remaining academic career), found among the links above, before submitting an application to Ross Academic Services.  This spreadsheet lays out each traditional term & lists the core Bus Ad courses. It also has spaces for the other program's courses, for planning purposes.

Advising appointments for dual degree issues are available throughout the year.  From the Academic Counseling Appointments web site, select "BBA Dual Degree Advising/Issues" to schedule an appointment.

Admitted BBA's may contact the Dual Degree Advisors in the Office of Academic Services at rossacadservices@umich.edu.
