The article titled “Companies turn to MBA students for biz plans at the right price” highlighted the team's efforts and quoted MPS Group's CEO, Charlie Williams, giving kudos to the team. The article further expanded on the Ross initiative of action-based learning. At Ross, the concept of action-based learning is present throughout the curriculum. Students are challenged outside of the classroom, in the real world of business practice, where the collaborative process benefits all involved; students, faculty, and sponsoring organizations. Even though the first half of the game was plagued with
turnovers, the Wolverine’s came back fighting in the second half. The
defense kept the team’s hopes alive as the offense tried to get back on
track. We are happy to report that the Wolverines succeeded in their
efforts with non-stop action down to the last minute of the game as they
pulled out a 27 to 25 win over Wisconsin. | |||
