The Ross
School of Business Global MBA Program is a challenging academic program
and admission is selective.
Corporate Sponsorship
Applicants to the program must be corporate sponsored. Companies
interested in sponsoring employees in the program must submit a
Corporate Sponsorship Application prior to or along with their
nominee's individual admission application.
Application Submission
Nominated
candidates must submit admission applications individually. The
individual admission application is available at the downloads section
of our program website. After a thorough
review of the candidacy of the applicant, judged through the application
materials and a personal interview, the sponsor company and the
candidate will be notified of the admission decision.
Application Requirements
Applicants
must have completed the equivalent of a four-year U.S. bachelor's
degree. Applicants must also take the Graduate Management Admissions
Test (GMAT) and the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) if the
applicant's native language is not English, including the writing test.
The TOEFL may be waived if the applicant earned a bachelor's or higher
degree from an accredited U.S. college or university or if the applicant
has two or more years of full-time US work experience where
communication is exclusively in English in the past five years.
In lieu of the TOEFL, the school may offer the Michigan
English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) to evaluate English
proficiency.
Admission Criteria
Each
applicant's candidacy is assessed through the application documents,
essays, résumé and work experience, recommendation letters, interview,
and test scores. |
