Our Ph.D. students are nationally recognized individuals with a wide range of research interests, specializing in behavioral, managerial, and quantitative areas of marketing inquiry.  Like our faculty, the Marketing Ph.D. students regularly are awarded grants and publish in the primary journals in the marketing field.

For Prospective Ph.D. Students

The Ross School of Business offers a Ph.D. in Business Administration.  A Ph.D. from the marketing department at Ross prepares students to become leading academic researchers in the field of marketing.

Each year the marketing department enrolls from 2 to 6 students to begin study for the Ph.D.  The process is highly competitive.
