skills, knowledge and capabilities for high performance as organizational leaders
and organizational members.

Times (MO611, 1.5 credits): This course provides critical lessons
from top managers about leading turnarounds and difficult change (Offered:

Navigating Change
(MO603, 1.5 credits): This course offers frameworks and tools for leading
organizational change (Offered: Fall A, Fall B 2008;
Winter A, Winter B 2009)
Leading Creativity and
Innovation (MO563, 1.5 credits) This course deals with practices
necessary to stimulate and manage innovation (Offered: Fall A 2008)
Leading through Relationships
Bargaining and Influence Skills
(MO512, 2.25 credits): This course teaches the theory of negotiations with
hands-on practice and critical reflections (Offered: Fall A, Fall B
2008; Winter A, Winter B 2009; Spring, Summer 2009)
Managing Professional
Relationships (MO615, 1.5 credits): This course offers skills for
developing effective professional relationships within and across organizational
boundaries (Offered: Winter A 2009)
Interpersonal Dynamics in

Leadership Coaching Practicum
(MO625, 3 credits): This unique, two-part course is designed to provide students
with an unparalleled opportunity to develop cutting-edge skills to lead through
coaching (Offered: Winter A, Winter B 2009)

leading effective capability-building in not-for profits.

Leading with Human Capital
Introduction to Managing Human Capital
(MO315, 3 credits):
This course builds on the theoretical framework developed in MO300 and
emphasizes the personnel decisions to be made by the manager (Offered:
Winter 2008).
General Leadership
Leadership (MO321, 3 credits):
This course is designed to
increase students' conceptual understanding of leadership in organizations. The
course is highly experiential (Offered: Fall 2008).
