Legal and ethical concerns play an increasingly important role in business. Law and ethics establish the framework within which business operates and they touch every aspect of managerial decision-making. Law and ethics support, facilitate, and regulate business practice in all functional areas. BBA students who will play a future leadership role in business must have a general understanding of law and ethics as these disciplines relate to business, as well as a specific understanding of their impact on the function BBA students will enter upon graduation.

In recognition of the importance of law and ethics,
BBA students must complete
either LHC 305 or LHC 306.
BBAs are encouraged to elect
additional law or ethics courses in areas
related to their specific career interests.
