Welcome
to the Business Economics and
Public Policy Group web site.

Our faculty is comprised of applied microeconomists whose areas of expertise span the fields of antitrust, environmental, franchising, health, industrial organization, labor, law and economics, personnel, productivity, transaction costs, transition economies, taxes, and many others.

Our instructional mission includes core courses in the University of Michigan Ross School of Business BBA and MBA programs, where the emphasis is on the principles of microeconomic analysis, and how to apply these principles to business decision-making and public-policy evaluation. We also offer electives in both programs that are geared to the needs of future entrepreneurs and managers. Finally, we train future faculty members and researchers through our IB-BE Ph.D. program.
