Hal Derric White

Hal's research interests include the quality of earnings, financial accounting, signaling, corporate governance and disclosure. His teaching experience is in financial accounting. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1998. Upon graduation, Hal worked in Birmingham, Alabama in public accounting as an auditor, first with Deloitte & Touche LLP, then with Pearce, Beville, Leesburg and Moore LLP. He left public accounting to earn his MBA from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa in 2002 and his PhD from Penn State University in 2007. Hal is a Certified Public Accountant. |
