Program Options

  • Dual Degrees & Special Programs:  Dual Degrees, Washington Campus, Study Abroad, and Institutes, Centers, Programs, & Partnerships.

  • BBA minors:

The Ross School of Business Administration and the College of Literature, Science & Arts (LS&A) allow currently approved LS&A academic minors as an option for students in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, effective Fall 2004.  Students in the BBA program are eligible to pursue one or more academic minors offered by units within LS&A.

The Ross School follows LS&A’s Academic and Administrative Policies & Regulations, as appropriate (as listed on the Student Affairs website at http://www.lsa.umich.edu/saa/minors.html), and will automatically accept any future minor that is approved by LS&A.

In practice, students meet with the LS&A advisor in the minor discipline and together they map out the minor courses. Declaration of the minor and certification that appropriate courses have been completed is communicated from the LS&A department offering the minor to the Office of Academic Services within the Business School.

  • Transfer from Evening MBA into Full-Time MBA Program:

While all students should plan on completing the program to which they have been admitted, occasionally Evening MBA students consider transferring to the Full-Time MBA program.  These requests should be presented as an email to Academic Services at rossacadservices@umich.edu.  No request will be considered unless all core course work has been completed, along with the writing requirement.  Transfer requests are evaluated in a batch process.  Factors affecting the decision include space constraints in the Full-Time MBA class that term and confirmation that core coursework (and writing requirement) will be complete at the time of transfer.
